Nethy Bridge Area

Fishing

Available on the mighty river Spey one of the most famous of the Scottish Salmon Rivers, together with numerous smaller rivers and lochs.

Golf

A 9 hole traditional Highland course on the outskirts of the village is open to visitors with numerous other 9 & 18 hole courses within the local area.

Bird Watching

Abernethy Forest is home to Crested Tits, Scottish Crossbills & Capercaillie. While nearby is the RSPB reserve at Loch Garten with the Ospreys. Birdwatchers are most welcome at Tigh na Fraoch. Early breakfasts are no problem.

Water Sports

Loch Insh & Loch Morlich offer tuition in a variety of water based activities. The River Spey is enjoyed by Kayak enthusiasts.

Winter Sports

Winter sports can be pursued at Cairngorm Mountain with the UK’s fastest mountain railway giving quick access to the Ptarmigan and a wide range of runs.
